Downtown Overlay District: The Downtown Overlay District is essentially the downtown area in the traditional section of town. Approximately, it is Main Street between Detroit and Washington. Buildings and site plans in this District are treated differently in terms of setback requirements, landscaping, parking and signage because of the pedestrian nature of the area.
